Kanye West et son disque "Late Registration" occupent la première position des disques de l'année 2005.
Pour l'hebdomadaire, West a fait la démonstration avec ce disque que le hip-hop peut absorber tous les styles de musique et demeurer du hip-hop. Il devance les Rolling Stones avec "A Bigger Bang". Le magazine qualifie le dernier CD du mythique groupe rock comme leur meilleur en deux décennies.
On remarquera Amadou et Mariam avec "Dimanche a Bamako", à la 31ème place.
